The curious difference between the UK and the US Doctor Who trailer

Interesting scifi wire post with the two trailers, the US one is definitely more action but the UK one doesn't take long to catch up

ooh! I hadn't actually managed to see any DW trailers yet, so those were great. And did I see Stonehenge in the middle of the British one? Cool!

Thanks for that, it keeps us going til April 3rd. Wasn't sure about Matt Smith at first (I'm a committed Tennant fan, not just for Dr. Who but lots of his other stuff as well)but he comes across really well in the trailers. Agree with some of the comments that likened him to the Patrick Troughton Dr. (no.2) sort of mad, puckish, but ultimately very powerful. Should be interesting. NB it would be nice to have a male companion again, changes the boy/girl dynamic.
