I haven't written anything meaningful here for a while so here goes, behind a cut as I am liable to both ramble and put up imagery

I was inspired to find the images of mimas again by todays wonderful picture on apod which always provides an awe inspiring image for the
day

We have had lots of people recently which is always nice, My sisters are down this weekend which is good. I have plans for good food and possible a trip to london. We had fun playing spycraft last weekend and this time we thankfully didn't get malaria

At the start of may we went to paris for a long weekend, we had lots of nice food, reignited my desire to see more galleries, still haven't managed it though. I think the most memorables things were the D'Orsay which is a wonderful gallery full of impressionist work in a gorgerous converted train station. I think the pieces which stick in my mind most are a young girl chasing after a red ballon and a sculpture of a sculptor, sculpting a pair of gladiators, a mouthful but a wonderful piece. Then Saint Chappelle, a church built by one of the Louis to house his relics including the crown of thorns and a piece of the cross. The walls of the upper church are actually mostly stained glass, an amazing building

Strawberry fair was nice, good barbecue, good wine and nice to see people I hadn't in a while and meet people I hadn't before
